A title that could be exploited via favouritism would have not much use here...

how about a title where all you have to do is move forward and its maxed?? that seems to be what everyone wants.

Interesting idea but wouldnt work. Isnt helping out someone and realising how happy you just made them(maybe not) reward enough in itself?

This would be the easiest title in the game to max. You'd just have to talk to any random person in the game. Offer to give them a "nice point" if they gave you one in return.
hmm... 3million players, maybe 4 characters per player. That's a buttload of points in a very very short space of time.
Worst. Idea. Ever.

I think the difference is that the OP is asking for a title, which many people have already stated is exploitable, while your suggestion proposed multiple ways of rewarding the player, including a simple visual effect.
I would support something like a *ding!*, or a flash over a player, or something that just shows up around the player. If it gets too fancy, it can be one of the 30-second emotes. I don't believe a title track is the way to though, because of how easily that can be abused.

Can you imagine what the bots could do? Someone buys a million points and with all the accounts gold companies have they could make a shit load of cash.

lol, the funny thing is that it seems some people cannot simply say they don't agree with an idea, but have to bash it as well. seems like every idea i've come across (not just my own) to improve the the community gets flamed and flooded with sarcasm by people. precisely why i had the idea to begin with. actually, i think it's every single topic period. i guess the a-holes of the world really do run things or is it all the uptight sarcastic people "in the game" populate message boards as well? *shrugs*

I also like the idea but as has alreeady been said, far to easy to abuse as it is. There would have to be some other way to have the title carried out.

Ummm, there have been a few good reasons given as to why it's a bad idea. Just because people don't agree with you, you don't have to group everyone as retards(surprised you weren't banned for that offensive signature, Mr. "Nice" guy) who disagrees with you.
One: the idea can be exploited.
Two: legislated or paid-for morality never works.
Just keep setting a good example on your own. For every asshole, there will be more than one person that appreciates the deed, and maybe one that will carry it on. That is good enough. Giving a reward for it corrupts the idea.

You want a reward for being nice? Seriously?
Maybe next you'll want to be able to exchange "niceness" points for keys?
